This was one of the nicest VRBO's we've ever stayed at. The home is set up for comfort and relaxing with a group, and feels truly high end. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for making meals (or treats!), we could sit our entire group comfortably in the family room in the downstairs level, it was an easy walk to the main area of Sister Bay and an easier drive. The communication from the host was incredible, with all of the information needed to access the home amenities as well as great restaurants to check out (Thyme + Twelve Eleven was a great wine bar within a short distance from the home). We didn't take advantage of the outdoor couch/fire table, or fire pit, but that is because we had just a short weekend and couldn't fit everything in. Our group is already making plans to try and stay here again this summer to enjoy the home, and Door County, in warmer weather.

Wonderful place to stay and Erin was such a kind and helpful host. Had great communication from the moment I booked all the way to checkout. Highly recommend this house!

Beautiful new home owned by friendly gracious hosts.

Our winter stay at the Sister Bay Haus was nothing short of magical! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt at home being welcomed by a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and sophistication. Erin's clear and informative check-in details, coupled with thoughtful suggestions for winter must-dos in Door County, offered the perfect level of hospitality!

The proximity to the Door County Christmas market was a standout, we loved the ease of walking there and so enjoyed the insulated mugs for our hot chocolate on the way! There are so many extra special touches throughout the house – they’ve truly thought of everything!

The beds were incredibly comfy and the kids absolutely adored the bunk room and the lower-level game room - equipped with an arcade and video games!

Having stayed at their sister property, The Ephraim House, we can confidently say that the Sister Bay Haus matches the same level of luxury and genuine hospitality.

Beautiful Home and a Perfect Location!

We had the BEST time at Sister Bay Haus! The house was absolutely pristine and so beautiful! Erin was able to get us in a couple hours before check in which was so appreciated! Location couldn’t have been better- very short drive to downtown Sister Bay and in walking distance as well! This place is seriously such a gem- I hope I have an opportunity to stay again!

This home made our trip to Door County really feel like a VACATION! Our family typically stays quite busy out and about (during vacations) , but this house is so nice that we actually chilled there for a lot of our vacation time.. There is a ton of space throughout—stocked kitchen with everything you need! Beautifully decorated bedrooms and gathering spaces throughout the home. Erin and John have thought of everything you need to feel spoiled and comfortable in their home. We loved that we could easily walk to Sister Bay’s main attractions. The home is close to the grocery store, yet tucked away on a quiet street surrounded with other beautiful homes. We enjoyed the large front porch, covered deck, and the fire pit area in the backyard! We would most definitely stay here again!

Erin and John were fantastic hosts. I have never stayed at a house that the hosts were so friendly, responsive, and just cared about us having a good stay. Gave me ideas of things to do with my kids on rainy days. Dropped off a fun little gift on the 4th of July. Had everything ready for us to enjoy s’mores at the camp fire. My family and I would love to stay again!
